"The person who has lived the most is not the one with the most years, but the one with the richest experiences."
Swiss philosopher and writer
(1712 - 1778)
Perhaps, it is not necessarily the number of such achievements, nor their "greatness", but how much we personally value our experiences which can make for a rich reward.
This web site began life as a vehicle to revisit some of those wonderful experiences with friends intimately involved in their creation. Hopefully it may also serve as a small but useful resource for others searching for inspiration.
Bearing in mind another of the thoughts of Rouseau:
"I have always said and felt that true enjoyment can not be described"
it is hoped that these images and thoughts manage to convey at least a little of the satisfaction felt at the time, and later too from the memories and friendships thus formed.
And my personal philosophy?
Let destiny shield me from much that is bad and good character protect from the rest.
